Usage

Purpose and possible limitations of the product

  • The product is worn around the neck to provide cut protection in ice hockey and other ice sports.
  • In a normal ice hockey game situation, the product protects against skate blade cuts.
  • A defective/damaged product should not be used.
  • Replace the product if any seam has torn or there is a hole in it.
  • Do not alter or attempt to repair the product yourself.
  • Note that no neck guard can necessarily provide 100% protection.

Fitting

  • Wear the Cutlon® neck guard around the neck with the Velcro fastening at the back. It should be tight (but not choking) to stay in place and provide maximum protection. Adjust the size to fit comfortably around the neck.
  • Arms should go through the underarm loops to keep the neck guard in place.
  • Always wear the neck guard along with all other ice hockey equipment.
  • When not in use, store in a clean, dry place.
  • Avoid storing in direct sunlight or at temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius.

BLADE CUT RESISTANCE

Cutlon® is extremely durable, thin, and flexible. Additionally, it offers excellent and tested cut resistance. Thanks to polyethylene fiber, Cutlon® does not absorb moisture and transfers heat away from the skin. These features ensure Cutlon’s unique protection and maximum comfort among cut-resistant knits.
